The Challenge

A rapidly growing urgent care group with more than 200 locations in seven states needed documentation support that could scale with its operations. Managing scribes internally had created hiring and training challenges, inconsistent documentation quality, and concerns about E/M levels.

The Solution

The group introduced Speke AI with ScribeAmerica support in a 10-location pilot serving 96 clinicians. The model combined ambient technology with asynchronous scribe support to complete documentation to the organization’s standards.

What Changed

After 60 days, the customer requested expansion to 30 additional locations. By November 2023, support reached 40 locations and 196 clinicians. The pilot produced 23,710 records, followed by another 118,631 records through March 2024, for a reported total of 142,341 notes.
